In recent years significant attention has been paid to improving schools, school systems and education processes. This attention has manifested in small scale pilot experiments and large scale structural changes that have greatly affected schools and those who work in them. As districts and schools wrestle with implementing new processes there can be challenges that arise due to change or the ways to best implement and manage change. Teachers with diverse backgrounds and a rich history of experiences are more adept to change and better prepared for change. Likewise, schools that have a balance of new and veteran teachers also find it easier to accept or enact change.
